The San Antonio Spurs (48-15) will host their conference rival Oklahoma City Thunder (47-16) at the AT&T Center tonight in what will be for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Only one game currently separates the two teams and this will mark the third meeting for the Spurs and Thunder. San Antonio and Oklahoma City have split the first two games with the Spurs losing to the Thunder in the second match.  Thunder handed the Spurs a 93-107 loss in Oklahoma City in their second meeting. Tony Parker and Nando De Colo finished with a 14 points each and Thunder's Serge Ibaka posted 25 points, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The Spurs are coming off a huge loss in San Antonio versus the Blazers, 106-136. Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 35 points (25 in the second half), 9 assists, and 2 steals. Tim Duncan paced the Spurs with 18 points in the loss.

The Thunder are coming off a 91-79 win yesterday over the Celtics in Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 38 points in the win. OKC has won five straight heading into tonight's clash.

And as these two Western Conference titans prepare to go toe-to-toe tonight, here are five things to watch for during the contest:

• The Spurs are 8-0 at home when two-or-more Spurs score 20 plus points.

• The Thunder are 7-3 on the second game of a back-to-back this season.

• Durant averages 21 points per game against the Spurs this season which is his lowest average against any West team.

• The Thunder are a perfect 14-0 when limiting teams to shooting below 40% field goal shooting on the season.

• The Thunder are 11-8 on the road versus West teams this season.
