The San Antonio Spurs (19-6) hit the road once again as they travel to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder (19-4) for a Western Conference showdown.
Tonight's matchup will be interesting to watch not just because of two West powerhouse teams colliding but because of recent events involving Stephen Jackson and Serge Ibaka involving Jackson being fined for making a threatening comment towards the Thunder's center.
The Spurs won the first matchup 86-84 in San Antonio this past November with Tony Parker nailing a buzzer beater for the win. Five Spurs scored in double figures with Parker finishing with 14 points and 11 assists and Tim Duncan adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Kevin Durant led OKC with 23 points, and 14 rebounds.
For the Spurs, they are coming off a 103-88 win over the Celtics in San Antonio. Parker paced San Antonio with 22 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds and 4 steals.
For the Thunder, they are coming off a 113-103 win over the Kings with Durant leading OKC with 31 points in the victory. With the win OKC has now won 10-games in a row.
