5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Rockets

The San Antonio Spurs (17-4) visit their division foe Houston Rockets (9-10) tonight in Houston as these two teams hook up for another game in just a matter of days. The Spurs and Rockets met last Friday where San Antonio blew out Houston in San Antonio 114-92 where six Spurs players scored in double-digits. San Antonio went 48-of-87 (.552) from the field and limited Houston to 37-of-95 (.389) shooting.

The Spurs are coming off a 132-102 blowout win over the Bobcats. The Spurs got double figures from seven players with two others just a basket away from joining the double digits club. With the win, San Antonio has won three straight road games entering tonight's contest with Houston.

The Rockets are coming off a 116-109 loss to the Mavericks.  Houston got outscored 32-20 in the fourth quarter which led to the team's loss. Also, James Harden is questionable for tonight's contest versus the Spurs.

And as these two Texas teams get set to tangle, here are five things to watch for in tonight's matchup:

• Houston allows an NBA-worst average of 103.9 points per game.

• Houston has begun the 2012-13 NBA season with a 1-3 record against Southwest division teams.
• Houston is 4-2 when they score between 100-109 points this season.
 
• San Antonio is 4-0 on the road when shoot 50% or more.
 
• San Antonio is 6-0 on the road when the team has more assists than the opponent.
