The San Antonio Spurs (34-11) will visit their division rival Dallas Mavericks (18-24) in Dallas in a Texas showdown. This will mark the third 
meeting between the two teams with the Spurs up 2-0 in the regular season series. The Spurs won the last meeting in Dallas 111-86. Tony Parker finished with 21, Manu Ginobili added 20 and Tim Duncan chipped in with 18 as the trio combined for 59 points for San Antonio.
The Spurs will also be without coach Gregg Popovich and Tim Duncan. Duncan (sore left knee) and Popovich (sick) did not travel with the team to Dallas and will miss tonight's game against the Mavericks.
The Spurs are coming off a 106-102 win in San Antonio over the Hornets. Tony Parker finished the game with 24 points and 13 assists with just one turnover.
The Mavs are coming off a 111-105 win over the Magic. Shawn Marion recorded his eighth double-double this season with a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds.
And as the Spurs hope to build on the NBA's longest winning streak (six games), and the Mavs look to capitalize on having four days off, here are five things to watch for during tonight's contest:
• Parker leads the Spurs averaging 19.5 points and 7.5 assists in two games against the Mavs.
• Dallas has averaged 26.8 assists and 10.6 turnovers in the past five games.
• Mavs' Darren Collison is averaging a team-high 16.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, a team-high 5.0 apg, 1.0 spg and 28.5 mpg in two games (one start) against the Spurs this season.
• The Mavericks have scored 100 points or more in each of their last six games and are averaging 110.7 points in that span.
• The Mavericks are 9-1 this season when they shoot at least 50 percent.
