This is it. One game, winner take all.
The San Antonio Spurs (15-5) will look to capture their fifth NBA title in franchise history tonight in Miami as they face the Heat (15-7) in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
San Antonio squandered a shot at winning the NBA crown in Game 6 in Miami as the Spurs fell in overtime 100-103. The Spurs were up by five points in the waning moments of Game 6 when Ray Allen hit a key three and the rest, as they say, is history. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 30 points and 17 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard chipped in 22 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals. LeBron James led the Heat with 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Miami outscored the Spurs 8-5 in overtime to force a Game 7.
And as the Spurs and Heat clash for the last time and close out the 2012-13 NBA season, here are five things to watch for in tonight's game:
• Miami is 9-3 at home in the postseason.
• The Spurs are 4-0 in NBA Finals winning in 1999, 2003, 2005, and 2007.
• Miami has won seven consecutive postseason series, the longest stretch in team history.
• The Spurs are 5-0 on the road in the postseason when shooting 50% or better.
• The Spurs are 0-2 on the road in the postseason when their opponent scores 100 points or more.
