Spurscast #170: Turning Heads and Throwing Chairs

Michael and Jeff are back and at it, even in the slow summer months before the Spurs season starts. We kick off the show talking about Pop’s latest interview with the media, where he talked at length about the newest Spurs from Richard Jefferson to Theo Ratliff.

We also go over some Spurs articles from around the web including ESPN listing Richard Jefferson as the top newcomer and Chris Mannix listing the Spurs as number one in his preseason power rankings on SI.com.

On the second half of the show, we talk about a rumor of Devin Green being signed by the Spurs, the Spurs hiring a new European scout and summer league player Romel Beck getting involved in a brawl during the Mexico-Uruguay game. We finish it all off by reminding you to contribute your favorite David Robinson memories and talk about SportsMedia 360, a conference in Cleveland Jeff and I will both be at in October.
