SC #129: Summer League
Michael and Jeff talk about the Spurs re-signing Kurt Thomas, the Roger Mason signing and the loss of Brent Barry and possibly Robert Horry. We also go over the summer league and our surprises and disappointments now that Summer League is over. A Maryland Terapins fan, Renan Borelli, joins us for a few minutes to talk about James Gist and Roger Mason.

Good stuff on the last podcast. Good to hear about Gist from someone who has watched a fair bit of him play. I see the rumours of Pargo signing with the Spurs and am unsure how I feel about it. He can score in bunches and create his own shot which is definitely something the Spurs need, but I think the more pressing need is in the frontcourt. A couple of veteran bigs still available who could probably be had at the vets minimum for a contender like the Spurs I wouldn’t mind seeing are Juwan Howard, Jamaal Magloire or Theo Ratlif. I’d be interested to know your thoughts on these as the guy I was keen on (Anthony Randolph) signed with the Hawks.
