Talking the state of the Spurs with ‘The Big E Sports Show’

Elissa Walker Campbell of Yahoo! Sports’ “The Big E Sports Show” invited Project Spurs’ Jeff Garcia to talk the state of the San Antonio Spurs as the half way point of the NBA season nears.

After the brutal December which saw the Spurs face the best-of-the-best in the West and end with one of the worst records in December in Tim Duncan’s career, how are the Spurs looking now?

Also, the two talk about the injury bug hitting the Spurs, the play of Cory Joseph and much more. Take a listen and follow Elissa on Twitter.

Broncos the latest to compare themselves to the Spurs

There have been a lot of teams this year who have decided a comparison to the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs is a good one. Well, the NFL’s Denver Broncos, more specifically coach John Fox, is making that comparison as well. However, it’s not the way they play their game or even that they win a lot […]

It’s no secret that the San Antonio Spurs have hit a lull in their season, but after making what Gregg Popovich called a “huge” return against the Houston Rockets, Patty Mills’ presence can be deemed more than a numerical advantage. “He couldn’t find his shot tonight, but his energy, just being on the court, being […]

This Spurs parody video will have you rolling on the floor

Someone out there with a much more creative mind than me decided it would be a good idea to make a cartoon parody of the San Antonio Spurs.

He made the “Big Three” of Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili special forces agents – much like in A-Team – and sent them on a mission.

I won’t give you the whole plot, but basically Manu gets kidnapped and the team has to save him, taking shots at the organization along the way. (more…)
