Patty Mills looks shredded as return to Spurs looms

Remember when the San Antonio Spurs head coach pretty much called out Patty Mills for being fat? Well, not anymore, as it seems Mills is looking shredded as he recovers from offseason shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator. Mills posted a photo of himself on Instagram looking leaner, as he appears to be more than […]

Video: Adam Hanga’s latest game highlights are awesome

Seriously, San Antonio Spurs foreign prospect Adam Hanga is developing his game by leaps and bounds, as you will see in the highlights of his recent game for Italian squad Sidigas.

Hanga shows all out hustle on both ends of the court, an improved outside shot, ability to get to the rim, finding the open man, dunking with ferocity and more. However, what stands out the most is his improved defense. He hustled down the court for a huge block and has active hands on defense.

Check out the latest Hanga highlights and prepare to be impressed! (more…)

Rest gate: Should Popovich rest players so early in season?

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is known for resting his players in back-to-back situations. He even made headlines when he sent Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and Danny Green home in 2012 and was fined $250,000 by the NBA. The resting issue has been a debate for several seasons and the Silver […]

San Antonio Spurs v Los Angeles Clippers

Tim Duncan’s agelessness is taken for granted

That might be one of the most things I have written, but people still don’t understand what the 38-year old is doing. San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan has five double-doubles in the six games he’s played so far this year. He has over 800 career double-doubles — good for third-most in NBA history — and […]

Video: Davis Bertans puts on a show in recent game for Laboral Kutxa

San Antonio Spurs foreign prospect, forward Davis Bertans, had himself quite the game recently as he proved there no where on the court he cannot hit a shot.

Versus Spanish club La Bruxia d’ Or, Bertans finished with a double-double finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes of play. He showed a much more aggressive game as well as a deadly outside shot including one nifty 360 degree pass to a teammate during the game.

Needless to say, if he continues this kind of play, the Spurs may be looking at another diamond in the rough stashed overseas. (more…)

Manu Ginobili Trolls Teammate Patty Mills

As many of you know, San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills is still recovering from off season shoulder surgery and his return to the court is still weeks away. But that hasn’t stopped Mills from supporting his teammates from the sidelines or should I say the Twitter sideline. Last night, Patty seemed pretty fired up for […]

The San Antonio Spurs (3-3) will look to make it two road wins in a row in California, as the team will visit the Golden State Warriors (5-1). The Spurs are coming off an 89-85 road win over the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard had 26 points and 10 boards to lead the Spurs to the team’s first […]

About A Win: Spurs 89, Clippers 85

With 1:49 left in the fourth quarter Monday in Los Angeles, Clippers forward Blake Griffin turned the ball over to San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, as the Clippers were holding an 82-81 lead. The Spurs would push the ball up the floor, as it would touch the hands of Tony Parker, who then whipped […]
