Video: Kyle Anderson on the Spurs, talking with Popovich, NBA money and more

San Antonio Spurs rookie Kyle Anderson was a guest on ESPN and spoke on becoming a Spur… something he always wanted.

Anderson spoke a lot about San Antonio, including his love of their system, their postseason march to title No. 5, and much more. He also spoke on being compared to Boris Diaw and flat out said he likes the comparison.

Interesting to note, he mentioned his first telephone conversation with head coach Gregg Popovich and how Pop didn’t tease him as well as how he is going to handle the big NBA money coming his way. (more…)

San Antonio Spurs Patty Mills and Aron Baynes are in Australia with the 2014 NBA trophy in hand for the fans to soak in the Spurs championship. Of course no NBA trophy tour is complete without the duo video bombing a live sports news report!

Mills and Baynes crashed the Fox Sports News AFL live report running across the camera with the Larry O’Brien Trophy in hand.

The reporter did not know who they were and shoved Mills out of camera too close to his surgically repaired shoulder.

Video: Tiago Splitter dunks on kids at basketball camp

The NBA and San Antonio Spurs are in offseason mode which means a few Spurs are having basketball camps for the kids.

Tiago Splitter is hosting a basketball camp in his home country of Brazil and is teaching the campers a thing or two about the game. Such as how someone who is 7-feet tall can drive into the lane and dunk on a bunch of kids.
