Video: Spurs’ Eddie captures D-League Three-Point Contest

San Antonio Spurs’ Marco Belinelli may not have defended his NBA All-Star Three-Point Shooting title but Jarell Eddie of the D-League’s Austin Spurs took home the crown.

Eddie faced Warriors’ Stephen Curry’s brother, Seth Curry, in the final round of the three-point shoot out and scored a whopping in 25 points in the final round to take back to Austin the 2015 Boost Mobile NBA D-League Three-Point Contest title.

Austin Daye update: he’s still alive!

Some people might think that former San Antonio Spurs player Austin Daye fell off the face of the earth when the Spurs waived him in mid-January.

Not only did they waive him, but they did it a week after he put up a 22 point and 10 rebound game.

Spurscast 353: Praise Marty Moose

The long Rodeo Road Trip continues tonight for the San Antonio Spurs with a stop in Los Angeles to take on the Blake Griffin-less Clippers. The Spurs went 2-1 on the short Eastern Conference leg of the trip, entering the NBA’s ceremonious halftime with a strong performance over the Detroit Pistons. Even with the NBA finally be back in action tonight, most of the basketball-world will still be processing the rumors and news leading up to today’s trade deadline at 3:00 PM (EST).

Video: Spurs’ Mills on coming back from injury & more

San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills was out for most of the first half of the season nursing a shoulder injury which required surgery during the offseason.  Now that he is back on the court, he is averaging 8.9 points, 1.6 assists, and two rebounds in 22 games for San Antonio.

Recently, Mills opened up about the injury and said he had to exercise a lot of patience since returning to the court and is looking for a big push after the All-Star break in the video below.

Mills also touched on getting opponent’s A-game being the defending champs and who the team relishes in it as well as the competitive Western Conference. (more…)
