Becky Hammon and the San Antonio Spurs made NBA history when she was hired as an assistant coach. The hire made waves throughout the world and the Spurs and Hammon were praised as trail blazers.

Video: Diaw with monster block vs. Ukraine

San Antonio Spurs’ Boris Diaw and Team France are getting set for the 2014 World Cup in Spain and recently faced Ukraine in exhibition play.

During the recent game, Diaw showed off his defensive skills in the third quarter, as he got beat off the dribble but recovered to send back a layup attempt.

Video: Mills makes cameo in short film for Virgin Australia AFL Film Festival

The AFL team Adelaide Crows have debuted their entry for the Virgin Australian AFL Film Festival and it features a cameo from San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills.

This film is set in the year 2025 and a few players from the Crows are imagining what they might be doing in the future. Well one player dreams he is an AFL coach and is desperate to find a replacement player for the squad.

Enter Mills, where despite having shoulder surgery, the coach still wants him to suit up and play for the Crows. Check it out at the 1:55 point of the video below.

Despite Diaw’s struggles, Team France edges Gilas Pilipinas 75-68

San Antonio Spurs forward Boris Diaw struggled offensively (scoring 1 point) but grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out four assists as Team France escaped with a 75-68 win over Gilas Pilipinas in exhibition play at the 2014 Antibes international tournament in France. France was led by Blazers’ Nicolas Batum’s 16 points and 11 rebounds.
