Spurs Trade Butler, Rights to Scola to Houston!

In a stupid ass move, the Spurs have traded Jackie Butler and the rights to Luis Scola to Houston for guard Vassilis Spanoulis, a future second round draft pick and cash. Spanoulis has made it clear he does not want to return to the NBA and is now playing overseas in Europe. Another Euro who will never come to the Spurs. Way to go Spurs Front Office. You really made a horrible trade in Spurs history.
What a nice way for Lindsey to ring in his Spurs career than to totally bone the Spurs into making this weak trade. Remember, Lindsey came from Houston so he knew about Spanoulis and his never wanting to come back to the NBA.
But it does free open a roster spot. Maybe the Spurs aren’t done dealing just yet.

If I were a hard-core Spurs fan, I would never refer to any of their front office moves as “stupid ass”. Now that Udoka has been signed to the empty roster spot, doesn’t your post seem a little unfair?
Repeat after me: Thou shalt never doubt the wisdom of RC Buford and Pop.
