I was at the Bobcats game!

On 1/24 I visited the AT&T Center to watch our San Antonio Spurs kick the crap out of the Charlotte Bobcats. It was my first Spurs game since 2003 when they lost to Sacramento so I was a little worried. Would I go 1-1 or 0-2?!? Yikes! Needless to say….not a problem this night. My longtime friend Dee Martin had an extra ticket and offered me the ticket. Her son is on the Judson High School football team which was being honored at halftime for their state championship appearance. We were in section 128 along the rail at the top of the section. We literally walked in the front door of the arena and straight to our seats.

The game was great. 28-point blowouts usually are. The Spurs jumped out 5-0 on Bruce Bowen’s two buckets and never looked back. Got to meet my friend from Slovenia who sent me my Rasho jersey. I wore the jersey and was stopped and approached more than once by people who loved it! Also got to see Eva as well as some good friends of mine.

Great time, great friends, great game.
