Stats show ‘Hack-A-Jordan’ may not work

You know it’s coming, the Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan knows it’s coming and the San Antonio Spurs are certainly going to do it. What is “it” you ask? “Hack-A-Jordan.” The Spurs have never shied away from using the tactic to send Jordan (a career 41 percent free throw shooter) to the line when the game is […]

The Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan is probably awaking in a cold sweat just thinking about the free throws that Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs will force him to shoot in their upcoming meetings. He won’t admit that though, instead choosing to tell the associated press in Los Angeles a different story.

PS’ 2015 Playoff Preview — Spurscast 360: Go West, Old Men

The San Antonio Spurs ended the 2014-15 regular season in a rather anti-climatic fashion, unraveling on the road against the young New Orleans Pelicans. San Antonio had been on an impressive run through most of March and April and were looking at a golden opportunity to enter the post-season as the second seed in the West. All the Spurs needed to do was simply win. Instead they’ll enjoy the luxury of being the sixth seed and skip two time zones to take on the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers are clearly trying to sandbag the Spurs

The Los Angeles Clippers aren’t into “poking the bear” so to speak, but they clearly don’t know where to find the middle ground. The San Antonio Spurs certainly will take the appreciation and compliments, but most likely with a rather large grain of salt. I mean Jamal Crawford thought it would be a good idea […]
