Spurs rout Clippers 100-73 behind Kawhi Leonard’s 32 points

AT&T CENTER – The San Antonio Spurs, behind Kawhi Leonard’s 32 point effort, smashed the Los Angeles Clippers 100-73 to take a 2-1 first-round series lead. Leonard’s offensive explosion was his career-high playoff scoring while the Clippers just couldn’t get their offense going.

L.A. was held to 16 points in the first quarter and 11 points in the third quarter while their floor leader, Chris Paul, was help to 7 points off 3-11 shooting.

The Spurs bench scored 39 points led by Boris Diaw’s 15 points. Tim Duncan was held to 4 points on the night off 2-6 shooting.

As for the Clippers, Blake Griffin struggled scoring 14 points when throughout the series he was averaging 27.5 points.
