After suffering their worst Rodeo Road Trip going 4-5, the San Antonio Spurs are back in the Alamo City ready to defend their home court tomorrow night versus Sacramento.
After the team’s practice this morning, our friends over at News 4 San Antonio caught up with Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan where Kawhi said so long as the team reaches the postseason, they have a shot like any other playoff bound team. Duncan spoke on seeing some chemistry finally starting to kick in especially after the two wins to close out the Rodeo trip. (more…)

San Antonio Spurs rookie Kyle Anderson was named the D-League performer of the month for February while playing with the Austin Spurs.

Anderson (6-9, 230, UCLA) led the Spurs to an 8-1 month in February, when he scored 20-or-more points five times and recorded four double-doubles. He led the team in scoring three times and was the leading rebounder five times. He dished out team-high assists five times in February. For the month, Anderson averaged 22.8 points to go with 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
Anderson has played in 16 games on assignment in Austin, averaging 22.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

San Antonio Spurs rookie Kyle Anderson continues his strong play for the D-League’s Austin Spurs as he dropped 28 points to lead Austin to the win over the Legends.
Against the Legends, Kyle showed more aggression going to the rim, and the ability to step up when it counts.
With six seconds left in the game clock, Anderson sized up a three-pointer and nailed it giving Austin the narrow 100-97 win. (more…)
