The first night of Spurs preseason action is in the books as the new-look San Antonio squad lost a close one to the Kings of Sacramento on Thursday night. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Boris Diaw didn’t travel with the team but, for those with League Pass, fans got their first look at the team’s new acquisitions. The season is long but will it be long enough for this loaded San Antonio team to find their groove? (more…)

Spurscast 374: Welcome to Camp

Monday provided San Antonio Spurs fans the first glimpse of the 2015-16 season with the annual circus that is media day. Per the norm, Spurs fans were given behind-the-scenes peek at photo-shoots and were supplied with an ample amount of quotes and Pop jokes. Drastically distant from the norm were the presence of huge off-season acquisitions strutting about in their new silver and black attire. While the media activity and fan interest swarmed around LaMarcus Aldridge and David West, plenty of attention was spared to names fighting for a spot. A pair seem destined for the team’s D-League affiliate in Austin but which of the others might seize the 15th and final spot on the Spurs’ roster?
