AT&T CENTER – The San Antonio Spurs started off their six-game home stand with a 112-54 throttling of the Sacramento Kings in their first home game since the Rodeo Road Trip. With the win, the Spurs move their record to 37-23.

The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard’s 21 points while Tony Parker chipped in with 19 points. The Spurs’ bench also made a huge impact with 50 points led by Manu Ginobili and Macro Belinelli’s 13 points a piece.

AT&T CENTER — It is the end of the first half between the San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings with the score 54-38, Spurs with the lead. The Spurs were led by Kawhi Leonard’s 19 points and Manu Ginobili’s six points off the bench.

The Kings were led by Rudy Gay’s eight points while DeMarcus Cousins chipped in seven points but was hampered with three personal fouls in the first half.

Video: Kyle Anderson posts 29 points in Spurs’ win over Mad Ants

San Antonio Spurs rookie Kyle Anderson showed why he was named the D-League performer for the month of February against the Mad Ants as he scored 29 points to lead the Austin Spurs to the 108-99 win.

Video: Spurs’ Leonard, Duncan are glad to be back in San Antonio

After suffering their worst Rodeo Road Trip going 4-5, the San Antonio Spurs are back in the Alamo City ready to defend their home court tomorrow night versus Sacramento.

After the team’s practice this morning, our friends over at News 4 San Antonio caught up with Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan where Kawhi said so long as the team reaches the postseason, they have a shot like any other playoff bound team. Duncan spoke on seeing some chemistry finally starting to kick in especially after the two wins to close out the Rodeo trip. (more…)

Video: Kyle Anderson’s best Austin Spurs moments from the month of February

San Antonio Spurs rookie Kyle Anderson was named the D-League performer of the month for February while playing with the Austin Spurs.

Via Austin Spurs press release:

Anderson (6-9, 230, UCLA) led the Spurs to an 8-1 month in February, when he scored 20-or-more points five times and recorded four double-doubles. He led the team in scoring three times and was the leading rebounder five times. He dished out team-high assists five times in February. For the month, Anderson averaged 22.8 points to go with 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

Anderson has played in 16 games on assignment in Austin, averaging 22.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
