Spurs’ foreign prospect, Davis Bertans, returns to the court

San Antonio Spurs foreign asset, Davis Bertans, returned to the court for the first time since his recent knee injury for Spanish club Laboral. Bertans logged in three minutes, did not score, grabbed one rebound and handed out one assist.

This was a huge stride for Davis who is coming off a right knee injury which saw him spend time in San Antonio rehabbing over the summer.

“I’ve waited nine months and want very much to go back on the court. I aim to help the team as much as I can, but recovered to form,”said Bertans. According to Australia’s biggest free gaming website to play pokies, Bertans can certainly compete with the best of any prospects when he’s healthy.

As for recovering with the Spurs over the summer, Bertans gives the team praise in helping him get back on the court.

“They are the best physical therapists and physicians with this type of injury which is a great experience. I am happy that I was able to be there.”

As for any fears Bertans might have coming off the serious injury, Davis says he has none.

“I have no fear, and I am 100% sure that I will come back even better than I had before. That I was not the first time following injury, so this time was a bit easier because I knew what was waiting for me and what has to be done. Rehabilitation went well, the operation was a success and I am happy with the result. I worked hard to return and be better than before the injury.”
