Fan Essentials curating monthly Spurs subscription boxes + giveaway

Hand-picked subscription boxes are not a new thing. There are subscriptions for everything from makeup, clothing, art supplies and even dog treats. But there’s never been a subscription box for NBA fans, and especially Spurs fans, until recently.

Fan Essentials is a monthly box subscription service built by fans, for fans. The Spurs boxes will be available in two size/price options. “The Rookie” is the smaller of the boxes, priced at $14.99 per month, that will include 2-3 Spurs-centric products per month. “The Veteran” is the larger box, and will deliver 5-6 Spurs-centric products to your door every month for $34.99.

But Fan Essentials doesn’t deliver your run-of-the-mill Spurs gear you can find at retailers or online. Fan Essentials is working with local vendors to produce unique, custom Spurs products such as artwork, decor, and apparel. Additionally, they are working with vendors who can offer Spurs Fans new, exciting officially licensed merchandise to help fill out your collection. They also provide digital downloads for wall paper and backgrounds for your phone, tablet or computer. Perhaps the best part is that subscribers to “The Veteran” will have a chance to score Spurs tickets and other special fan experiences.

Fan Essentials sent us the first Spurs box, and it came with a unique 11×14 spurs poster, a pair of hand-made ceramic coasters, a t-shirt I had not seen anywhere else, a lanyard and several other objects.

The December veteran box, pictured above included a shirt, a rally towel, a set of three buttons, an ornament and a print. All of the contents are completely unique and were nothing I have seen before.

For Spurs gear junkies or collectors, the subscription box makes a great gift, and we’re sending one of our lucky readers the next box shipment.
