Tiago Splitter: DeJuan Blair’s kick to my head looks intentional

It was the kick heard throughout Game 4 between the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs.

Former Spurs forward and current Maverick DeJuan Blair kicked San Antonio’s Tiago Splitter in the head after the two were scrambling for the ball in the fourth quarter when Blair got called for the foul. The result was a technical foul on Blair and an ejection. It couldn’t have come at a better time for the Spurs considering Blair was getting the best of his former squad to the tune of  12 points, going 5-5 from the field and grabbing 10 rebounds.

After the game, Splitter spoke about the incident and says Blair’s kick looked intentional.

Via Star Telegram.com:

“After watching the video, it looks like it was intentional. He has nothing against me. He’s a good kid. I know him. I don’t know why he did it.”

Spurs fans were up in arms about the Blair kick. Considering he has taken verbal jabs at his former club since joining the Mavs, this didn’t help.

Game 5 is set for tomorrow in San Antonio and it is safe to say Blair won’t be receiving a warm welcome in the AT&T Center.

Let’s here from you Spurs fans. What do you have to say about the incident?
