The San Antonio Spurs announced the team has signed 6’8″ forward JaMychal Green. Per club policy, terms of the deal weren’t announced in the release.
According to Shams Charania of RealGM.com, Green’s deal will be partially guaranteed for two years.

If Green’s deal is like Bryce Cotton’s deal, then both players would be trying to make the roster after training camp, and if they did, their deals would become guaranteed. With the Spurs’ roster already carrying 14 guaranteed roster spaces, it could be a competitive training camp for Cotton and Green, if they’re both trying to earn that lone final roster spot.
Green played with the Spurs’ Summer League team in Las Vegas in July, where he averaged 7.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in 16.2 minutes per game, in six games.
Last season, Green played in the French Pro A League for Roanne, where he averaged 11.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in 25 games last season. Green has some familiarity with the Spurs’ system, as he also played with their D-League affiliate, the Austin Toros, during the 2012-13 season.
