Spurs Pregame Report: Mavs’ Calderon Feeling Good About Game 7

AT&T Center – With the San Antonio Spurs-Dallas Mavericks opening round series tied 3-3, needless to say, Game 7 is a must win for both teams.

Before the game I sat down with Dallas Mavericks guard Jose Calderon to see how he was feeling about the game.

“We’re going to try to get our best game of the series and go out there and play basketball,” Calderon said.

In preparing for the elimination game, Calderon said there was nothing the Mavericks did differently to prepare. He’s optimistic about the Mavericks’ chances of winning game 7.

“Maybe no one was expecting us to be here in a Game 7, but we’re here and we’re going to keep on fighting so we just have to get one game,” said Calderon. “It’s one game, there’s nothing else you can do. It’s about playing 48 minutes and being better than San Antonio.”

At the end of this game, one team will go home and one will advance to play against Portland in the second round.
