Spurs vs. Heat• Trip to San Antonio accompanied by not-so-fond memories | Miami Sun Sentinel

Miami Heat beat writer Ira Winderman says the Heat have bad memories of their three-game stay in San Antonio during the NBA Finals. The Spurs blew out the Heat in Game 3 113-77 and won Game 5 114-104 before the Heat won Games 6 and 7 in Miami.

"I mean, of course, we just played them in the Finals and obviously just going there is always a place of horrors. I haven't had a lot of success there in my career, but it's always fun going against a very, very well-coached, very well-machined organization and team, with so many great players."

• Mills: Confidence is rising with every game | NBA Australia

In his latest blog on NBA Australia, Spurs guard Patty Mills talks about finally making it home after a tough Rodeo Road Trip. Mills also says playing more with Tony Parker out has helped his confidence.

I am finding my way through the system and understanding my role on the team much better now and am heading into games ready to step up and make more of a contribution.
My defence is also improving and I put that down to all the fitness work I have been doing right through the season.
Mills also said he hasn't spent too much time thinking about his plans for next year since he is on an expiring contract, but says he is focused on the team and will leave the contract talk to later in the year.
