San Antonio Spurs free agent Aron Baynes is still waiting to see where he will be playing basketball next season and according to reports, it seems teams in Europe are hoping to sign the big man from Australia.
According to reports, Baynes would like to stay in San Antonio but a few teams from overseas are offering him more money than what the Spurs are willing to give him.
Currently, the Spurs have one roster spot left to fill and do not seem to be in any rush to re-sign Baynes. Baynes is playing with Team Australia as they prepare for the upcoming 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain.
Aron averaged 3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and shot 43 percent for the Spurs during the 2013-14 season.
No one cannot blame him if a Euro team offers him more money and a larger role and he leaves San Antonio. Add the fact he recently married, now he has to look out for what is best for him and his wife.
Stay tuned to Project Spurs for the latest on this development.
