Undrafted Swedish forward Viktor Gaddefors will be joining the San Antonio Spurs’ Summer League team in Las Vegas in July, according to Sportando.com
Gaddefors, 21 years old, went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, after withdrawing early from the 2013 Draft a year ago. At 6’7” and 215 pounds, Gaddefors just completed his fourth season with Virtus Bologna of the Italian League. Here were Gaddefors statistics this past season with Virtus Bologna:
6.8 points, 64% shooting, 3.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 33% shooting from 3-point range in 30 games, at 23 minutes per game.
Per his NBA draft profile, Gaddefors strengths are: Plays within himself. Good finisher and physical profile. Solid athlete and spot-up shooter.
Being that Gaddefors plays the small forward position, if he’s productive at Summer League, he could be creating an opportunity for himself at possibly earning a training camp invite, since the Spurs currently don’t have a traditional backup small forward for 2014 NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

Other reported names for the Spurs’ Summer League squad include:
Kyle Anderson, Marcus Denmon, Deshaun Thomas, Melvin Ejim, Darington Hobson, Bryce Cotton, and Durand Scott.
