It seems like two San Antonio Spurs draftees are going to be teaming up next season in Italy.
According to NoticiasDeAlava.com, Spurs draftee Adam Hanga will be sent on loan from Saski Baskonia to Sidigas Avellino of Italy next season, which is also the same team Deshaun Thomas will also sign with as well.
The Hungarian Hanga was drafted in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs and has bounced around Europe playing for Basquet Manresa and Laboral Kutxa Vitoria since being drafted by the Spurs. Hanga is a 6’7” shooting guard, but has below average weight and wingspan.
Hanga’s career high scoring is 11.7 points per game, with a career average (outside of his Hungarian league) of 8.4 points per game.
This will also be Thomas’ first season with the club as the two look to develop their games in an attempt to make the Spurs roster somewhere down the line.
