Preview of Spurs 2014-15 season schedule

The San Antonio Spurs unveiled their 2014-15 season schedule late Wednesday night as the silver and black will begin their title defense on October 28 against the Dallas Mavericks at 7 p.m. inside the AT&T Center. The game will be a rematch of the seven-game 2014 first round playoff series.

Below is a quick month-by-month breakdown of the new schedule:

The Spurs annual “Rodeo Road trip” will have them play nine games in the span of 20 days from Feb. 8-Feb 28. In December, the silver and black will play several Western Conference foes including Portland (12/19), Dallas (12/20), LA Clippers (12/22), Oklahoma City Thunder (12/25) and Houston Rockets (12/28).

April sees the silver and black play Houston twice (4/8 & 4/10) and Okahoma City once (4/7) before closing out the 2014-15 campaign against the New Orleans Pelicans on April 15 on the road.
