Patty Mills won’t rule out playing for Australia’s NBL

The San Antonio Spurs are quite the international team. With players from Brazil, Argentina, and France to Italy, the Spurs represent the game of basketball well and proves the game knows no boundaries.

And while the bright lights and big stage of the NBA is what draws talent from around the globe, there are those players who want to return to their home country and play before they put a wrap on their career.

For example, guard Patty Mills, who won’t rule out a return to Australia’s National Basketball League.

“You never rule it out,” he said.

“This is what I am about – promoting my indigenous heritage, but also basketball in Australia.”

Mills isn’t the only Spur who might return to his home country after his time in the NBA. Tony Parker has stated many times he’d like to return to France and play when him time in the NBA is over.
