Marco Belinelli’s three-point contest sneakers up for auction

San Antonio Spurs fans can own a piece of franchise history by bidding on Marco Belinelli's All-Star Three-Point Contest game-worn sneakers.

Marco, who won the 2014 NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest in New Orleans, became the first Spur in team history to win the event. Belinelli defeated Bradley Beal to capture the crown in one of the most exciting shootouts in recent memory.

To sweeten the deal, Marco signed his sneakers for the auction which is for the association Dynamo Camp Onlus.

 

These shoes are a personalized edition of the Nike Hyperdunk iD, colors were chosen by Marco's best friends and recall the colors of New Orleans, the city where Belinelli has lived for two years, from 2010 to 2012. On the back of the left shoe his initials – MB – on the right shoe his jersey number, 3.

On the tongue the letters SGP, representing San Govanni in Persiceto, the city just a few kilometers from Bologna, where Marco was born and still resides with his family.
