Nando De Colo's unhappiness with his role on the Spurs has been well documented, but throughout the process, he's maintained his professionalism and state of readiness in case his number gets called.
Except now his number's being called by European teams in need of the combo guard's services.
First with the report that Turkish club Fenerbahce was pursuing the 26-year-old Frenchman, now De Colo's agent has come out and denied any rumors of Nando leaving mid-season to return to France and play professionally there. De Colo's agent also says that he will finish the season with San Antonio and will listen to all offers this summer.
De Colo's in the final year of his two year contract with the Spurs, averaging 2.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists this season in just under 7 minutes a game. But he's only appeared in 13 contests, accumulating most of his stats in garbage time.
Though his skills have struggled to translate to the NBA, Nando has managed to be a force for the Austin Toros. In 8 games for the Spurs D-League affiliate, De Colo is averaging 23.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 37 minutes.
So what do you think Spurs fans? Do you see De Colo sticking around in the NBA after this season, or should he go back to the Euroleague where the opportunity for him to succeed is greater?
