San Antonio Spurs foreign asset Davis Bertans might be leaving his current team, Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian League, to Galatasaray of Istanbul.
According to Eurohoops.net, Bertans’ current team is facing financial difficulties and may not be able to keep the forward. And if Bertans and Partizan part ways, Galatasaray might be interested in retaining Davis.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but Bertans can be a fit in Istanbul. His buy out is 200.000 euros and Galatasaray, after parting ways with Pops Mensah Bonsu, is examining the available front line options on the market. Βertans is one of them.
Bertans averaged 12.5 points, and 3.8 rebounds for Partizan last season in four games after coming back from a knee injury.
Bertans was selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Pacers. However, his rights were immediately traded to the San Antonio Spurs as part of the Kawhi Leonard deal.
