San Antonio Spurs foreign asset, forward Davis Bertans is set to return to the court next month according to his head coach Dusko Vujosevic.
"The first game will be Bertans 16 March against Szolnok in the Adriatic League, "said Vujoševic reporters in Belgrade.
Davis has been out for eight month dealing with a knee injury.
Back in June it was reported on Project Spurs that Bertans had suffered a tear in his right ACL in a game versus Crvena Zvezda during the Serbian League Finals. After flying to San Antonio to consult with San Antonio Spurs about his knee treatment, he went ahead with procedure on his right knee.
While playing this season for Partizan he scorched the nets shooting 47.1% during the Euroleague and 44.6% during the Adriatic League, while free throw shooting 62.5% and 75.0% respectively will need to improve if he wishes to see the floor when he comes to San Antonio.
Can't wait that march 16th to be out there on the court with my brothers! #porodica

During his road to recover, Bertans has been spotted at Spurs home games. It isn't a far stretch to figure out he is in San Antonio to continue to heal the injury and for the Spurs to monitor his recovery.
