5 Things to Watch: Spurs vs. Kings

The San Antonio Spurs (51-16) will look to get their 12th straight win tonight was they visit the lowly Sacramento Kings (24-44) tonight in Sacramento.

The Spurs are coming off a 125-109 win over the Lakers. Tony Parker finished with 25 points to lead the team.

The Kings are coming off a 117-111 overtime win versus the Wizards. DeMarcus Cousins and Isaiah Thomas each scored 24 points.

And as the Spurs look for win No. 12 in a row, here are five things to watch during tonight’s contest:

  • Kings’ Isaiah Thomas is averaging 26.5 points in the two games against the Spurs.
  • Kings’ Cousins has recorded at least 20 points in seven of the last nine games he has played in.
  • The Kings are the only team in the NBA with three players averaging 20 or more points per game this season: Cousins (22.3 ppg), Thomas (20.6 ppg) and Rudy Gay (20.2 ppg).
  • The Spurs currently hold the best away record in the NBA at 25-8.
  • The Spurs are 13-3 this season when Manu Ginobili scores at least 10 points and distributes at least five assists.
