Unless the NBA granted Milwaukee a new team, or the franchise changed their team mascot or the San Antonio Spurs will hit the road to take on a hockey team this upcoming season, according to Ticket Master, San Antonio is set to face the Milwaukee Admirals (not the Bucks) this upcoming season.
An astute Project Spurs reader sent in this snafu on Ticket Master's site where fans can purchase tickets to the March 15 Spurs-Bucks game in Milwaukee. However, to make matters even more embarrassing for Ticket Master, it used Milwaukee's American Hockey League team - the Admirals- as San Antonio's opponent.
As Bloguin's own Awful Announcing would say, check out this screengrab snafu.
I suppose the Bucks with Caron Butler, Carlos Delfino, Gary Neal, O.J. Mayo, Brandon Knight, and Larry Sanders, isn't good enough competition for the Spurs.
