Tim Duncan’s big night

Last night, Spurs forward Tim Duncan scored 28 points for the second time this season, although it was clear that it was likely his best game of the season.

I would call it a throwback game, but Duncan’s been stringing together several very good permormances lately.

“He (Duncan) has been terrific. Of course you can’t play every game great but he has been great attacking the rim and passing the ball,” Manu Ginobili said last night. “This is what he usually does.”

For those that remember the good old days of the Spurs going to their ol’ reliable four down play, here’s a look at how they brought it back in their 10 point win against the Memphis Grizzlies last night.
