The matchup of the game for Tuesday night's game between the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets is between point guards Tony Parker and Ty Lawson.
The last time these two met in their first matchup, the Spurs got won the game by a huge margin and Parker out played his opposing point guard in less minutes played.
Parker had 14 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds in 25 minutes while also having a plus minus of +30 for the game. Lawson played heavier minutes (35 minutes) and chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds for the Nuggets.
The Spurs will be coming off a grueling schedule of seven games in 11 days and coming off a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The team rested their players while playing the whole team in a balanced way (26 minutes for Parker).
TP will have to come out and control the game early, especially with the altitude playing a factor. His teammates will have to help him out and set clean screens for him to get around the basket and get open in mid range.
It'll be important to have Parker score early for the Spurs because he'll be using his legs on defense against a speedy Lawson and his lungs will probably be burning with the Denver air.
