Green leading Spurs past Nuggets at the half

While Tim Duncan and Tony Parker got the San Antonio Spurs off to a blazing start, leading to a 37 point first quarter, the Nuggets bounced back in the second quarter off a 13-0 run.

Guard/Forward Danny Green has been the story of the first half, as he leads all scorers with 11 first half points.

The Nuggets have not respected Green’s perimeter shot and sagged off him through most of the half until he buried two three-pointers.

Aside from Green, the Spurs have used a balanced scoring attack, similar to what we saw against the Dallas Mavericks.

T.J. Ford has also done an excellent job finding shooters and will enter the third quarter with six points and five assists. Ty Lawson and Al Harrington are leading the Nuggets with 10 points each.
