San Antonio representative competing for Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown

Sprite Slam DunkFor Spurs fans looking for their basketball fix, they’ll be happy to know that Jacob Tucker is representing the 210 area code at Sprite’s Slam Dunk Showdown.

For Tucker, this isn’t his first rodeo. A video that went viral on youtube earned him an invite to the NCAA dunk contest. Tucker won it, and he’s hoping to repeat that feat at the Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown.

Tucker is going up against nine of the best dunkers around the United States who won in Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, New York City and Washington D.C. Two other dunkers were chosen from videos submitted online.

To vote for the 5-10 Tucker, visit NBA.com/dunk and vote for Tucker. Voters have until August 12, when four finalists will be selected to compete for a $10,000 grand prize at the championship event.

Tucker’s dunks, which won him the San Antonio contest, are viewable below.
