After a solid performance with the British U20 team and with Great Britain’s senior men’s squad, San Antonio Spurs 2010 draftee Ryan Richards will now take his talents to Switzerland and play for the Lugano Tigers according to sportando.net.
This is just another step in the right direction for the young man’s basketball development. Again, with the U20 team, Richards averaged of 22.3 points, and 8.1 rebounds in 11 games and although he didn’t get much time on the court with the senior team, the fact he made it the squad to begin with is a testament to his maturity on the court.
Thoughts Spurs fans? Would you like to see him join the Spurs now or should he continue to take his time to develop?
