As many await word whether or not the NBA lockout will be over in time for Christmas, former San Antonio Spurs guard George Hill may not be waiting much longer to hit the hardwood.
According to Sport24.gr, Hill is close to a deal with Greek squad Olympiakos for the duration of the lockout.
Hill has been playing with San Antonio’s ABA team the Texas Fuel and Project Spurs caught up with Hill at his most recent game and had this to say about playing overseas during the lockout.
One of the last questions Hill answered was whether or not he was looking at any options overseas, Hill quickly replied, “Not really.”
As owners and players have been meeting in the past few days, including today, in hopes of ending this lockout, perhaps Hill might want to wait a bit longer before committing to Olympiakos.
