Former Spurs coach honored

Ron AdamsFormer San Antonio Spurs assistant coach and current Bulls assistant Ron Adams is being honored as part of Fresno Pacific’s Hall of Fame class of 2011.

Adams was an assistant with the Spurs from 1992-1994 under John Lucas.

Ron Adams: Three-year basketball starter (1966-69) began his coaching career at the school before moving to Fresno State in 1986, then becoming an NBA assistant with San Antonio, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City and Chicago.

Adams will be inducted along with four other honorees on September 19.
