Spurs Interested in Collison?

According to ESPN’s Rich Bucher, the Spurs are interested in acquiring Nick Collison from the Thunder.

“Is it reasonable to expect the Spurs to acquire another sleeper-turned-stalwart like Roger Mason — Oklahoma City’s Nick Collison is a Mason-like trade target highlighted by ESPN The Magazine’s Ric Bucher in the latest issue — before the Feb. 19 trading deadline?”

Collison would be a considerable step-up at the Center position seeing how the current trio of Spurs Centers, Oberto, Thomas, and Ian, are not doing the job at the position.  This could get interesting especially to see what the Spurs will give up for Collison.  Maybe Presti will help out the Spurs again?  Let’s hope so.
