SPURSCAST EPISODE 398- Nothing Compares 2 You

The Playoffs roll on. The Spurs roll on. San Antonio keeps their momentum as they await a second round matchup- presumably against Oklahoma City. The only thing that could overshadow something as big as the NBA Playoffs, is actually something really small. 5’2” to be exact. Prince Rogers Nelson died this week at the age of 57. We affectionately reflect on his life, and his impact on ours.

Godzilla v. Mechagodzilla. Thunderlips v. Rocky. Cruz v. Trump. All are child’s play compared to the epic showdown Saturday night in the AT&T Center. Spurscast Episode 393- The Stretch Run

Just as the Spurs are bracing for the stretch run, so are the Warriors. Ryan breaks it all down with special guests Ben Bornstein and Paul Garcia, on the latest Spurscast.

Spurscast Episode 391- A Dark & Stormy & The Devil, You Know?

The Spurs’ inactivity around the NBA trade deadline was less than inspiring. But now they seem to be in the free agent mix. San Antonio is swapping out reserves, like point guard Ray McCallum, to make room for veteran Andre Miller, and they don’t appear to be done. On the eve of their first home game in some time, a lot seems unsettled. But should the Spurs stick with the devil they know? Jose and Ryan break it all down, with extra special guest, News4’s Casey Kiernan, on the Spurscast.

The Spurs were all set to trudge through the 2016 Rodeo Road Trip unscathed, then an injury to Kawhi Leonard happened and then the Los Angeles Clippers happened. Spurscast Episode 388- Road Dogs

Road Dogs is the name of this podcast episode, not Road House. If it was Road House, Jose would have a knife in his left boot, ready to roundhouse kick the NBA in the face. But alas, no Swayze-no-Wayze, as it were. So instead, Jose and Ryan talk the 2016 Rodeo-Road Trip, the All Star Break, engage in a bit of Spurs-talk, and of course cover the news from around the NBA.

Spurscast Episode 387- Do You Even Lift, Bro?

In the past week the best defense in the NBA has been tested, and the Spurs are barely passing. Some are now questioning their health. Ryan and guest-host Ben Bornstein do the heavy lifting in the latest Spurscast- with special guest host Jeff Jones, of NBC 4.

Spurscast 384: Leviathan

Thirty-eight games through their regular season, the San Antonio Spurs are churning out historically dominant numbers and with relative ease. Despite this intriguing match-up, fans are looking ahead to the January 25th road game versus the 35-2 Golden State Warriors. Will San Antonio be playing their best ball entering that game? And with a loaded slate of tough opponents in the dog days of the NBA season still looming, can the Spurs (currently on pace for 69 wins) legitimately threaten the 70 win barrier?
