Is Post Help Coming?

The Blazers kicked our teeth in Sunday night, but might we be getting some front line help soon?

Both Joe Smith and Drew Gooden are suddenly available. The Spurs can go after veteran discipline, or a set of more youthful legs. But they won’t be without competition.

Boston is likely out of the running after signing Moore, but Cleveland is desperate after Wallace went down with a broken leg. Orlando might also be interested, to help take some pressure off of Howard. Mark Cuban will also take a look at anybody that might put Dallas over the top, especially with their dearth of bangers.

I’m still not convinced we’re ready for the playoffs, I think our post defense and rebounding aren’t where we want them to be yet, and I’m not sure the guys on the roster will get it done consistently.
